Over the years, Carbon Makeover has run many activities and workshops spanning energy, health, nature, food, travel, waste and digital media. The one thing that all of these activities and workshops have in common is that the participants left having been engaged. The smiles show it and the evaluation shows it.

Carbon Makeover's interim evaluation concludes, "we expect surprisingly positive results to come from the final analysis. This must be set against the acknowledged severe difficulties this estate has suffered, since it was built, more than 60 years ago."

It isn't just the Carbon Makeover team who deliver workshops and activities: our community campaigners, who've started their own social and environmental enterprises are keen to continue sharing their expertise. Somer Housing Association had a first hand experience of this and the residents from their Sustainability Forum left us proudly showing off their handmade, compostable plant pots.

All of these workshops and activities are all transferable and an ideal way to make your ideas come alive.
